Quick start

Getting started with MetriXs takes minutes — no servers, no configuration.

Shopify stores

If you’re on Shopify, you don’t need the steps below — install the MetriXs Shopify app for one-click setup:

  1. Click Install in the Shopify App Store
  2. The app auto-verifies your domain + activates the tracker (App Embed) + sets up the checkout web pixel — no DNS, no theme editing
  3. Choose a plan (Free, Basic, Team, or Pro)
  4. Open your dashboard — storefront pageviews, checkout events, and revenue appear automatically

Other platforms

Four steps — no servers, no configuration.

1. Create your account

Section titled “1. Create your account”

Go to app.metrixs.eu/register and sign up. Your 14-day free trial starts immediately, no credit card required. The setup wizard will guide you through all remaining steps.

2. Add your site

Section titled “2. Add your site”

Enter your domain (e.g. mysite.com). MetriXs registers it in your workspace and generates a unique verification token.

3. Add a DNS TXT record

Section titled “3. Add a DNS TXT record”

To prove you own the domain, add this TXT record in your DNS provider:

Value metrixs-verify=<your-token>
TTL 3600 (or Auto)

Your token is shown in the setup wizard. DNS changes typically propagate within a few minutes.

4. Verify and add the tracker

Section titled “4. Verify and add the tracker”

Click Run verification checks in the wizard. Once your DNS is confirmed, paste the tracker snippet into the <head> of every page you want to track:

Data will appear in your dashboard within seconds of the first visit.
